The New Year Eyemakeup with Eyeshadow and Kohl

This is my first post on eye makeup and I am pretty excited about it. ☺️

This is a tutorial for your eye makeup for the upcoming New Year Parties. Instead of using the various shades on the eyeshadow palette, I have used only the copper shade from Revlon. To get the slight smokiness or darkness at the corners , I have used some kohl from Elle 18 and blended it well. The copper shade from Revlon is a must have for everyone and I got it at a discounted price from It has a light warm tone and the shimmery texture goes very well for evening makeup.

I have initially applied some eye primer on my entire eyelids and also at the corners of the eyes. To get a better coverage, I have put the under eye concealer. Then I dabbed a good amount of kohl on my outer corners. The kajal from Ellle 18 is not that good to use as an eye pencil, but it has a dark black color and is really good as a smudging substance. With my eyeshadow brush, I blended the kohl from the outer corners to the middle of the eyes and also smudged it along my lower eyelids. Finally, I took the copper eyeshadow and gently put it on my inner corners and the middle. I also used it on my entire eye area to get that shimmery effect. Finally I blended it well with the kohl to get a smoky effect. I completed my look by drawing a winged liner, using my Eyeconic eyepencil from Lakmé and used it on my waterline and lower lids too. Finally, the mascara from Lotus added the neccessary volume, thus making my eyes ready for the party 😊. This particular mascara is a bit heavy on the lashes and clogs a liitle.

With the pink lipstick and pink cheeks, I got a soft look which can be even carried at your workplace. For the New Year, go a little bold with the red lips. 💋
