Honey glazed chicken recipe

I was going through some grilled chicken recipes on the internet. I got inspired by a few chicken and mashed potatoes dinner ideas from some amazing food recipe blogs and thought of trying out an easy honey glazed chicken dish. Mediterranean food recipes have always intrigued me and this one was a sheer delight to the taste buds. It was a lazy Sunday with a lot of free time and it seemed to be a perfect day to try out this new dish. This is my first venture into the world of food blogging. Hope you guys will like it and do give me some honest feedback after trying this recipe at your home.

This is particularly a honey glazed chicken fry recipe, which doesn’t require grilling or baking. (read: I am too lazy to go for the difficult way) It is a very easy chicken breast recipe and the ingredients are easily available too.

  1. Chicken breast boneless (500 gms)
  2. Honey (1 cup)
  3. black pepper
  4. rosemary leaves
  5. thyme
  6. soy sauce
  7. Lemon
  8. salt (to taste)

Marinade the chicken with lemon juice for forty-five minutes. In a bowl mix honey, soy sauce, black pepper, rosemary leaves, thyme and lemon. In a frying pan, stir fry the chicken till it turns brown. Pour the honey glazed mixture on it and toss it for a while. Put some rosemary leaves and salt to taste. The honey chicken stir fry is ready. (yes! it is really a quick recipe).

The honey makes the breasts extremely juice and I have already become a fan of honey chicken breasts recipes. 🙂

Cooking time : 15-20 minutes.

To add the European flavour to the dish, I have served the chicken with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes was mixed in a milky buttery mixture to give the smooth and creamy taste to it. Chicken and mashed potatoes is a great dinner idea and can be a taste yummy way to soothe your foodgasm on a weekend night.
