Ethnic Street Style :: Gujrati Jacket and Black Tee

Ethnic Street Style for petite girls - Dainty Street

Winters are never so chilly and gloomy in Pune and it needs a whole lot of colour play.

When the ethnic fashionista inside me was calling on a sunny winter afternoon, I let it speak aloud through my recently bought colourful Gujarati glass worked jacket. The colour was so bright and loud, that I thought of contrasting it with a plain black tee shirt to give the jacket the full focus. This beautiful piece of handmade jacket is usually worn with kurta or churidar, but I preferred it with a black Capri and full sleeved tee shirt more. Since kurtas have always been a bit oversized for my small and thin structure, instead of going Indian all the way, this fusion accentuated my petite figure pretty well .

A pair of high heels and light makeup with the winter sun glowing on my face completed my ethnic street style look for this winter.
