I am not a Lehenga lover, but I am definitely up for any experiential styling! 🙂 This one is quite a light version for a Lehenga and can be an alternative option for an ethnic yet simple look for petite girls. Though it doesn’t fall into the contemporary street style ideas, but if you are up for some traditional avatar, then you can consider it as an Ethnic Street Style Idea during Pujas, traditional events or wedding seasons.
Just out of curiosity I got an un-stitched Lehenga and wanted to try a backless version of it, draped in dupattas. Frankly, this was a first attempt and I had no clue about wearing a Lehenga. Relying completely on my imagination, I opted for the sexier version. The bubblegum pink shade with a simple zaari border might have that grandeur missing, but somehow I fell in love with its simplicity, grace and light weight. I won’t recommend this Lehenga as a wedding outfit, but it’s worth for those days when you crave for these long flowy pieces and there is no big, fat occasion to flaunt it. Wear it during Pujas, Mehendi ceremonies or on those ethnic parties at your friends’ place, I am sure you will soar up the temperature quite high. 😉
A light coral eye makeup with magenta lipstick is the perfect makeup to go by. Keep your hair loose to seep in the casualness amidst the ethnicity. High heeled sandals and you’re all set to rock it. 🙂
